Craving more customization options, Ancestors? Well, you’re in luck!
We’ve added an all-new feature to Survived By that will allow you to personalize your character even further: Dyes!
We’ve also got new Consumables available for purchase with Bloodstone that give a buff when used, and a new crafting mechanic. For all the exciting details, keep reading!
Dyes are a new system in Survived By that let you recolor character! You will be able to re-color two regions on your character independently -- a Primary region and a Secondary region.
Use one of 16 colors (for now, more to come!) to personalize your Ancestor and stand out from the crowd while you gear up at the Tower. Dyes will be available from the Treasure Hunter in single-use versions (purchased with Bloodstone) or from the Seamstress in infinite use versions (purchased with Electrum).
Bloodstones contain immense power -- how much power is unknown but the Treasure Hunter has found a way to refine it.
Trade your Bloodstones with the Treasure Hunter for Aura Stones! These Stones provide buffs that last for three hours and come in the following varieties: :
Reward Aura Stone
Once activated, this stone provides an increase in drop rates and experience gained of 30% for three hours . This benefit ends on death.
Mobility Aura Stone
Once activated, this stone provides a decrease in fast travel cost and and increase in pickup distance of 30% for three hours. This benefit ends on death.
Collector Aura Stone
Once activated, this stone provides an increase in drop rates and pickup distance of 30% for three hours. This benefit ends on death.
Expansion Aura Stone
Once activated, this stone provides an increase in experience gained and a decrease in fast travel cost of 30% for three hours. This benefit ends on death.
Affix Crafting Expansion
In our latest Update, we’re expanding our Crafting system to be able to upgrade the Prefix and Suffixes of your Weapons and Armor!
All Prefixes and Suffixes (other than Bullet Patterns) can now be upgraded from Level one to 10. Upgrading an Affix on your gear will improve its effects, making you even more dangerous in combat depending on the Tier of the Weapon and Upgrade Level.
To upgrade Prefixes and Suffixes on your Equipment, you will need the materials obtained by dismantling normal Items (Remnants) and Imprints (Embers), as well as a matching Imprint of the Equipment Affix you wish to upgrade.
Make full use of this new system and you’ll have the edge you need to defend the Heartlands!
Don’t forget, Ancestors, check out these new features while you join us for the Server Stress Test on November 15 at 4 p.m. CT! Login during the Stress Test to find a free Dye in your Mailbox as well as the activation of every Zenith buff!
