Survived By Enters Closed Beta
July 18, 2018
We are excited to announce that Survived By is now in Closed Beta! ( Sign up here!)
To kick off Closed Beta, and to celebrate with you, we’re launching our first monthly event, Prophecies of Sin , where you can test your skills to grab some awesome new loot! This first monthly event will last until July 25 at 11 a.m. CT.
Other than an awesome new event, what does this transition into Closed Beta mean? It means we’re one step closer to introducing Survived By to the whole world in Early Access on Steam, and it also means we’ll be letting in new players at a much quicker rate than before – so tell your friends: now is the time to sign up! Alpha and Closed Beta players just might find themselves with something special in the game when we hit Early Access.
Over the last nine months of Closed Alpha, we’ve gone through a lot of changes for Survived By, and we’re thankful to all of you who have been here with us, leaving feedback on the forums, reporting bugs, and helping to bring new people in to play Survived By.
In case you missed some of it, here’s a few quick hits of what’s changed since Closed Alpha began:
- Added Hard Mode dungeons for an extra challenge
- Added more character skins and now an attachment system to customize your look
- Revamped the tutorial (a couple times)
- Updated art throughout the game and UI
- Added new bullet patterns and a weapon attribute system
- Updated crafting systems to make creating gear and consumables easier
- Plenty of balance passes on enemies, weapons, and characters
- Squashed bugs - lots of them
- We killed the NDA!
What is Closed Beta going to bring? We’re working hard on adding in more ways to let you stand out from the crowd which you’ll see in our brand new attachment system – find your perfect pair of wings, footprints, or things on a stick…! As we move forward, we’re refining our event system, and working to make sure that Survived By has meaningful content for you to check out each week – the first of which is the Zenith Buff event .
We’re excited to continue this journey with you, and hope you’ll join us! Community Manager Katherine will be sharing what’s new on our weekly livestreams on Twitch – make sure to join us!
